Rope
Access
Churchill Steeplejacks (UK) Ltd
have invested in the future of our steeplejack
operatives by providing rope access training
enabling our operatives to work at height using
recognised twin rope access techniques.
In addition to the traditional rope access
method of a boatswain chair the twin rope or
abseiling method, offers greater flexibility
particularly when there is a requirement to
transverse from point to point at height. Other
benefits include the ergonomics of using abseiling
equipment as oppose to the more heavy duty polypropylene
ropes associated with the use of boatswain chairs.
All
twin rope operatives are trained to a minimum
level 1 IRATA standard with training and development
of standards overseen by a full time employed
UIAA qualified instructor.
This investment will enable Churchill Steeplejacks
(UK) Ltd to provide a wider and more flexible
structural inspection team to operate throughout
the UK.
