Case Study 5: Rockware Glass K6 & K7 Project
In 2002 Churchill’s were employed by Rockware Glass Ltd to extend the height of two of their three existing steel kiln chimney at their Knottingley site.
The extension of both K6 & K7 chimneys was to be completed without disruption to production at Knottingley with both chimneys remaining on line during the installation of the extension sections.
Churchill’s sucessessfully completed the installation of both chimney extensions within programme and without any disruption to production.
