In conjunction with Churchill Steeplejacks (UK) Ltd core business a dedicated, stand alone division exists, devoted entirely to providing a thoroughly comprehensive service in respect of Lightning Protection and Specialist Earthing Systems.
This department is staffed by time served, vastly experienced and consummate engineers who work directly in line with the installation teams. All personnel are directly employed, CSCS registered and accredited along with all appropriate “Passport to Safety” certification.
This division provides the whole range of services inclusive of, but not limited to, design, supply, installation, commissioning, test & inspection and maintenance of both lightning protection systems and specialist earthing systems.
All projects are carried out in complete accordance with the current Codes of Practice, which include the new European standard BS EN 62305: 2006 “Protection Against Lightning” (which supersedes BS6651-1999 as of 31st August 2008) and BS 7430 “Earthing”. All of our designers have undertaken the comprehensive ATLAS training programme and have gained third party accreditation to prove their competence.
We also offer as an alternative to the conventional Faraday cage type installation, the Helita “Pulsar” ESE system of lightning protection that conforms to the requirements of a European code, the French code of practice NFC17-102. 1995.
