650ft High Stack Repairs

A four man Churchill team is currently undertaking internal remedial repairs to 1 of 4 no flue risers located within the 650ft tall concrete chimney at Ratcliffe on Soar power station.
Following the completion of the flue survey works were identified to the internal brick lining, access is currently being provided via an internal motorised access cradle suspended from the summit of the flue.
