Having completed the installation of the lightning protection systems to serve was is purportedly the worlds most exclusive Churchills rope access team have secured the contract to install decorative lighting at each floor level to three of the glass elevators that face out onto Hyde Park.
The complexity of the work requires the lift carriages to be isolated meaning that the only time the shafts can be accessed is during the night.
A three man Churchill team will spend approximately nine weeks accessing and installing the lighting to three glass elevators and in so doing completing an aspect of the job which will ultimately make the building instantly recognisable.
