Hospital Chimney Dismantling Project Completed

The dismantling of the 55m steel chimney at Kings College Hospital Croydon was completed this week, a contract which was a first for Churchills saw the whole structure including 6no flue liners dismantled to ground without the use of a mobile crane.
A project which started December 2009 and ran through to March 2010 had to endure a very harsh winter, again the successful completion of the project is yet again testimony to the dedication and professionalism of Churchills site team.
